Best Las Vegas photoshoot locations
Welcome to my non-exhaustive list of the Best Photo Locations in Las Vegas and the surrounding area.
Wondering where to take photos in Las Vegas? One of my favorite parts of photography is finding locations that truly inspire me. I feel the most myself when I'm traveling, experiencing new places and making art with them. When I work with couples looking for locations that speak to them, I try to put together a little list that comprises the vibes I get from the photos they're hoping to capture. This is a finalized version of the type of list I'd send, that includes all of my favorite little spots in and around the city.
SO HERE'S ME LETTING YOU IN ON SOME OF VEGAS' BEST KEPT SECRETS!!

ORCHARD
For the sunflower smelling, apple picking, farmer's market AT the farm, vibe of your cottage core dreams.

ROCK
The phenomenon that is the color orange, the cutest Joshua trees, a Vegas staple.
But there's a side of her you don't know...
In the late summer months a beautiful little meadow blooms for the best "this doesn't even look like Vegas" GREENS.
Permits required for weddings.
floyd lamb
PARK
The cutest tree filled, pond filled, PEACOCK FILLED escape from the city, perfect for everything from senior photos to weddings.
April to September 8am-8pm, October to March 8am-8pm
wetLANDS
The tall grass is such a unique and interesting addition to this location, the walking paths are so cute and the pockets of nature tend to feel untouched by the outside world that is so close by.
big
DUNE
The dune feels like such a fun escape from the city, the truest desert views. Such a cool way to focus in on you as the subject and your personal style ALWAYS fits the vibe.
You NEED four wheel drive, trust me. I found out the hard way.
lake
LAS VEGAS
Colorful little shops, The cutest golf course.
Unique architecture and so many different views.
This is where you go when you really wish you could leave town for your shoot.
the arts
DISTRICT
I feel like people don't realize just how much there is to offer here. A tire pile (trust me), cool signage, the most photogenic coffee shops, bars and restaurants. And my favorite part is that it's always changing. Murals are constantly being added or painted over, which means your photos will always be entirely unique to the time you spent here in front of my lens.
fremont
STREET
While this downtown Vegas classic is in fact a part of the Art's District, it needed its own spot on the list. From the Binion's parking garage, the community ally, 11th street records, to Fergusons. There's almost too many good spots in the same small radius.
dry lake
BED
This is another classic, nothing says Vegas more than a lack of water. A perfectly simple location that lets all the focus be on you. (Would be so sick with a classic car.)
nelson's
LANDING
Interesting rock formations that make for beautiful framing of the subject. Also wildflowers in the summer if we get a good rain season!!
About an hour and a half outside of the city.
flamingo
RESERVOIR
This drainage ditch is shockingly cool for photos. It's all concrete which means any color scheme will pop and there's truly so much to work with, background and posing wise. Everything you'd need for your dreamy urban shoot.
Hard to find on your own, but I gotchu with a pin.
desert
SHORES
The little lakes in this neighborhood make for a perfect sunset view and a fun escape from city life while still being in the middle of the city. Cute geese (if they stay far far away) and the occasional peddle boat which makes for a charming addition to the background.
Only certain spots are open to the public so be careful!
tivoli
VILLAGE
An Italian inspired shopping center that rivals some of the strip's famously fun architecture without the crowds. Different colored walls, unique moulding, a cool fountain, etc.
a bookstore
or LIBRARY
Public libraries are sooooo underrated, and so cute for an academia vibe. Where are my readers at, because we can write your fairytale right here.

CHARLESTON
Honestly every time I make the drive out I catch myself saying, "wow, I forget how pretty it is out here."
It's the perfect location if you're tired of the desert and craving some year round green.
About an hour and a half outside of the city.
caesar's
PALACE
Of course, anywhere on the strip will have picture perfect views, but for my eloping couples there's a special elegance at this casino. The clean aesthetic, marble statues and colosseum make for a very unique location for your classy affair.
valley
OF FIRE
The Valley of Fire is full of beautiful and unique rock formations, the most vibrant color, a beautiful canyon and winding scenic road. So much to work with. Perfect for nature lovers, elopements, senior photos, everything.
About an hour and a half outside of the city.
sand
HOLLOW
Sand Hollow is a beautiful little lake full of islands and coves you can claim for a picnic or a cliff dive. Would be a dreamy location for an adventurous couple who wants to have some fun swimming kayaking and more. Super close to Zion np (another of my absolute favorite locations!) and the best for a day trip get away with your love.
Two and a half hours outside of the city.
lake
MEAD
Lake Mead at sunset is sooooo pretty. While there's still water, definitely make the most of it.
I'm dying to do a shoot with the abandoned boats that are coming to the surface, we tried to go to this one speed boat a few months ago and we couldn't get there without 4 wheel drive. SO if you're down let's do it.
